Leicester City have signed Gokhan Inler from Napoli

The 31-year old Switzerland midfielder Gokhan Inler has joined Leicester City form Serie A club Napoli on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

This Leicester's sixth summer signing. Reports say that Inler could make his debut against Tottenham on Saturday, if his registration is confirmed in time.

Inler, who is the skipper of Switzerland national team has won 84 caps and played at the 2010 and 2014 World Cups is seen as a replacement for Esteban Cambiasso after the Argentine joined Olympiakos.

Inler will wear the No.33 shirt.

Inler said,

"I had many teams chasing me but in the end I decided with my heart and I came to Leicester City."

Inler has won two Swiss Super League titles with FC Zürich (2005–06, 2006–07), two Coppa Italia (2011–12, 2013–14) and Supercoppa Italiana (2014) with Napoli.
