Manchester United's 20-year old defender Luke Shaw is diagnosed to have fractured his both legs during Red Devil's 2 - 1 defeat to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in Champions League group stage game.
After 15 minutes into the game, when left-back Shaw dribbled the ball into Eindhoven's penalty box,a strong challenge from Mexican defender Hector Moreno caught his standing leg and sent Shaw to the ground. As a result Shaw was sidelined and substituted by Marcos Rojo.

The severity of the injury was confirmed after the final whistle that, Shaw suffered a double fracture of his right leg.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, United manager Louis van Gaal said,
"I’m not a doctor so I cannot say, but when you have a double fracture it is four to six months. But you can never say that in advance. He won’t play in the group stage, I don’t think. I hope he will play again this season."
Shortly after suffering the injury, Shaw thanked the well-wishers who sent him notes of support via his Twitter account saying:
"Thank you everyone for your messages, words can't describe how gutted I am, my road to recovery starts now, I will come back stronger."
His former club Southampton told Shaw to "come back stronger", to which he replied: "thank you, you don't know how much you as a club mean to me, thank you so much I really appreciate it."
